Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2

I'm not gonna say to much about this, why? because my friend Jim over at I Probably Liked it already reviewed it, I read his review, I don't want to repeat to much of what he already said, and we tend to agree for the most part, differ on a few minor points, but there's no way for me to really give a "fresh look" at this.

Either way, So it's finally over and I'm not sure how to feel about it? I really enjoyed the whole series and the movies just got better (although my least favorites were Half-blood Prince and Hallows part 1, that's not true....ok it'd have to be in order of least favorite to favorite S. Stone, Secrets, Prince, Hallows 1, Prisoner, Goblet, Phoenix without really knowing where this fits in till I've had some more time to digest it.) but they really took this one out with a bang, it didn't occur to me until I started really watching this movie how little of the last book they had waited to make a movie. Off the top of my head this couldn't have been more than 200-300 pages of the last book and I really appreciated that approach. While I'm sure it was all about money I think from movie goer stand point it was nice to have the last installment of the harry potter series really focus on being an exciting good time and making sure you didn't have to shoe horn in a bunch of story. That's all I really have to say, I laughed, I cried, and at the end I cheered. to close this off real quick It's been fun watching these kids grow up I secretly hope there's more harry potter in the future, tell an Albus Potter story, even though I know it could never live up to this and would ultimately be a failure. THat's all I really have to say, see it if you've got the time because quite frankly this is kinda a once in a lifetime phenomenon we have here. People compare it to what's happened with Twilight, and if you look at copies sold the harry potter series sold 450 million copies (64 mil per book average) while twilight sold 112(28 mil per book)and also that's a story about a girl who can't decided between fucking dogs or corpses.

Regardless, your last adventure with the boy who lived, sit back, grab your popcorn and enjoy. Sorry a little scattered as I've got some shit going on.

Even our rankings of the series are pretty similar. I'd place this one near the top, maybe even at the top, since it actually feels like a conclusion, instead of a big giant middle. Order of the Phoenix is my favorite, otherwise.

I'd need to see it again, like I said I won't place it at top til I've had some time.

Even though i hate flashbacks in general, i almost wish there were more in this one. not for any sort of plot value, i'm just always so surprised with how much every one has grown (neville). I liked the movie. Harry still annoys me, Ron actually kinda annoyed me in this one which has never happened before. That was mostly because his role was to stand in the background and look scared, angry, sad or surprised (which he has never been very good at). I am happy they showed more depth for both Snape and Dumbledore. Anyone up for an entire day of watching the whole series?
